![]() AC4 on my gsync monitor feels smoother than previous AC games felt at 60fps with vsync to be honest. Now, on my gsync monitor, the game feels ultra smooth and is free of screen-tearing, stuttering and input lag. But capping it at 30fps introduces added input lag and, of course, simply isn't as smooth or responsive as higher framerates. With games like AC4 Black Flag my PC was unable to maintain 60fps (even with fairly major adjustments to the settings), so I would usually cap it at 30fps just to avoid the stuttering or screen tearing that I would otherwise have to put up with. It truly has had a profound effect on the quality of my gaming. I bought the Acer XB270H gsync monitor and it was easily the best purchase I have ever made for my PC gaming. Starchild 2508d would very highly recommend a gsync monitor. The norm of PC will be based on what is the norm of consoles.
